Ann's Story
Ann was the first woman to host her own sports talk show on WFAN-NY with her “Hey Liguori, What’s the Story?” call-in sports show. The show started the first weekend WFAN went on the air and continued weekly for over 25 years.
She hosts the award-winning “Talking Golf” on Sunday mornings on WFAN in the spring and summer, the weekly, award-winning “Sports Innerview” radio show on NPR’s WLIW 88.3 FM, and her weekly podcast,"Golf Innerview with Ann Liguori" for the First Call Golf Business Platform. And Ann manages her extensive archives of “Sports Innerview" cable shows, a treasure chest of over 600 interviews Ann has done with top legends in sports, that aired weekly for 17 years.
Ann was also the first woman to host her own show on The Golf Channel. “Conversations with Ann Liguori” featured interviews with many A-list celebrities and the show aired weekly, prime-time, in the early days of The Golf Channel. Ann’s book, 'A Passion for Golf, Celebrity Musings about the Game,' features the behind-the-scenes stories about the show and Ann’s interviews, and her new book, 'Life on the Green, Lessons and Wisdom from Legends of Golf,' features 12 golf legends sharing life wisdom, lessons they learned from their championship golf careers.
Charity & Scholarship
Liguori hosts the Ann Liguori Foundation Charity Golf Classic every year at a prestigious golf course in The Hamptons, raising funds and awareness for cancer research, prevention, and mentoring.
She also established the Ann Liguori Foundation Sports Media Scholarship administered by NY Women in Communications. She served on the Foundation Board of her alma mater, the University of South Florida, where she has endowed a communications scholarship in memory of her brother, Jim Liguori. Ann is on the Advisory Board of USF's Zimmerman School of Advertising and Mass Communications and is a Board Member of the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association.
Ann is a leader and trailblazer in sports broadcasting as President of Ann Liguori Productions, Inc., an award-winning sports talk show host, public speaker, broadcaster, journalist, author, and producer.
